Second, camera setup

Step 1.

Step 3.

After front and back are completed, wiring is required (if planning or layout is done at an early stage, this step is actually a priority, especially in an environment where finishing will be done, conveyor must be buried beforehand). Two parts: First, confirm location of switch. You need to connect each camera to switcher via a network cable. You also need to connect a hard disk network video recorder (NVR) to switch. switch. According to principles of convenient wiring, aesthetics and safety, and make a crystal head on both ends of each network cable;

In addition, depending on different points of monitoring system, connection methods used also differ.

Structure 1: 1-8 small projects

For small projects with 1-8 points, conventional 100MP switches can be directly used to build network environment. If 2MP IPC is used, code stream is calculated at 6Mbps, bandwidth occupied by 8 cameras is 8*6=48M, and actual utilization rate of 100M switch is 50%-70%, that is, 50-70M, which can fully meet the transmission requirements of 8 IPC.

Structure 2: Small and Medium Projects Scored 9-50

For small to medium projects with 9-50 sites, 100M switches are far from enough. For aggregation that ensures uninterrupted video transmission, full-gigabit Layer 2 switches with higher performance are needed.

For medium and large projects with more than 50 points, a three-layer network architecture is required: an access layer, an aggregation layer, and a core layer.

Step 4.

Camera debugging. After installation is complete and all lines are connected, turn on camera. You need to complete appropriate network settings on hard disk network video recorder (NVR), add and distribute network cameras (setting methods are different for different manufacturers), so after adding all cameras, you will see image, and you can adjust camera angle, adjustable lens focus, etc. .d. to desired effect

In a situation where number of external cameras is small, you can directly add cameras to DVR and let cameras automatically assign IP addresses.

For a large number of cameras, you need to write address of camera first, then install and debug, and when adding a camera, it is recommended to add it directly on web page, not on DVR.
