ForewordHi everyone, I'm Mr. Lin. Beginners in weak electricity should familiarize themselves with installation and debugging of various monitoring systems. Today I will explain it step by step. The monitoring system is most common system in entire low current industry, and it is a subsystem that every beginner should master. Text1. Conventional network monitoring equipment
Network camera, NVR hard disk recorder (or general PC plus client, suitable for general desktop users to install in small quantities), switch (need to be configured according to number of cameras and data transfer rate, and can also be used supplier's suggestion) Hard disk, monitor, network cable, sheathed cable, power adapter (or DC 12V switching power supply), camera bracket, network cable, crystal head, etc.
Second, camera setup
When front camera is in normal power state, captured video signal is transmitted to hard disk recorder in background through network cable and switch for preview and storage. There are differences in specific connection methods for different points of monitoring system. Please refer to third step below for specific connection diagram.
Determine installation location and surveillance area of the camera, and fix camera to a building or surveillance pole using camera bracket.
Determine location of background equipment (VCR and hard disk monitor), install hard disk and hard disk recorder, and prepare a power strip for background equipment.
After front and back are completed, wiring is required (if planning or layout is done at an early stage, this step is actually a priority, especially in an environment where finishing will be done, conveyor must be buried beforehand). Two parts: First, confirm location of switch. You need to connect each camera to switcher via a network cable. You also need to connect a hard disk network video recorder (NVR) to switch. switch. According to principles of convenient wiring, aesthetics and safety, and make a crystal head on both ends of each network cable;
Second, camera power line wiring, each camera needs a 12V/1A or 2A power adapter, depending on construction environment or cost requirements, you can use a switching power supply instead (recommended that 12V / 10A switched power supply for 10 cameras, etc.), and a power plug is required. As shown in the picture:
If camera is powered by POE, you only need to run a network cable, and there is a POE switch to supply power to camera. As shown in picture:
In addition, depending on different points of monitoring system, connection methods used also differ.
Structure 1: 1-8 small projects
For small projects with 1-8 points, conventional 100MP switches can be directly used to build network environment. If 2MP IPC is used, code stream is calculated at 6Mbps, bandwidth occupied by 8 cameras is 8*6=48M, and actual utilization rate of 100M switch is 50%-70%, that is, 50-70M, which can fully meet the transmission requirements of 8 IPC.
Structure 2: Small and Medium Projects Scored 9-50
For small to medium projects with 9-50 sites, 100M switches are far from enough. For aggregation that ensures uninterrupted video transmission, full-gigabit Layer 2 switches with higher performance are needed.
Structure 3: medium to large projects with more than 50 points
For medium and large projects with more than 50 points, a three-layer network architecture is required: an access layer, an aggregation layer, and a core layer.
Camera debugging. After installation is complete and all lines are connected, turn on camera. You need to complete appropriate network settings on hard disk network video recorder (NVR), add and distribute network cameras (setting methods are different for different manufacturers), so after adding all cameras, you will see image, and you can adjust camera angle, adjustable lens focus, etc. .d. to desired effect
In a situation where number of external cameras is small, you can directly add cameras to DVR and let cameras automatically assign IP addresses.
For a large number of cameras, you need to write address of camera first, then install and debug, and when adding a camera, it is recommended to add it directly on web page, not on DVR.
3. Matters needing attention
Relevant settings of network hard disk recorder, recording, picture color, etc. need to be set manually and can be controlled according to instruction manual of product you purchased. Such a set of network monitoring system is completed.
