The first step is to undress

Remove outer insulation of network cable to expose colored insulation inside. Be careful not to damage inner insulation when stripping wire.

Second step, line

Cable arrangement is most important part of production of crystal heads, that is, arrangement of wire colors of network cables in order. All modern network cables are "twisted pairs", which means that small wires inside are twisted together in pairs, for a total of 4 groups, that is, 8 wires.

Among 8 wires, 4 wires are white. To distinguish them by name, we call it by adding color of wire twisted with it based on their own wire color. For example, white thread entwined with orange thread is called "orange-white thread" (or "white-orange thread"); a white thread entwined with a blue thread is called "blue-white" (or "white-blue thread"). There are two options for two wiring sequences: crossed and straight. A crossover cable means that two dies of same network cable use different connections, while a straight cable means that two dies of same network cable use same connection method.

Crossover cables are usually used for connections between devices of same type, such as computers and computers, routers and routers (there are now devices that support straight-through cables, but it's better to use crossover cables just in case). Straight-through cables are used for connections between different types of devices such as computers and routers.

Obviously, a straight line is more suitable for a house. Therefore, in a family, as a rule, all quartz heads use only one connection method - choose one of T568A or T568B.

T568A connection sequence: white-green, green, white-orange, blue, white-blue, orange, white-brown, brown;

T568B connection order: white orange, orange, white green, blue, white blue, green, white brown, brown.

Applicable scope of string sequence T568A

This connection method is used when network devices need to be cross-connected. The so-called crossover means that one end and other end of network cable are connected differently than RJ45 network cable connector. One end is connected according to T568A line sequence, and other end is connected according to T568B line sequence. Connection, that is, several network cables are crossed at other end before connecting to RJ45 connector. Applicable connection cases:

1. Computer ←—→ a computer called a peer-to-peer network connection, that is, two computers can communicate with each other only through a network cable connection;

2. Hub ←—→hub;

3. Switch ←—→ switch.

T568A Wire Sequence Connection

1. Direct Connection

Both ends of network cable connected according to T568B

2. Cross-connect

One end of network cable is connected according to T568B and other end is connected according to T568A

Third step, cutting out

Organize your network cables, take them in your hands, pinch and press - be sure to press. At this point, you can no longer tell which wires these white wires were originally twisted with. . Insert wire into network cable pliers and cut it.

The purpose of thread cutting is to cut 8 network cables evenly, so if you don't cut them all at once, you'll have to change them again. Clamp network cables tightly before cutting to increase success rate.

Fourth step, insert

Insert cut network cables into crystal head in order - no need to peel off cable jacket. When installing crystal head, pay attention to two points:

1. It must face back of crystal head, that is, side without a card slot, to press button;

2.After network cable is inserted into crystal head, you need to make sure that part of outer insulation of network cable is inside crystal head.If inner insulation layer is exposed, wire cutting steps should be repeated again, and 8 small wires should be shortened .

Fifth step, pressing

Insert crystal head into 8P socket of network cable pliers and press firmly. After crystal head is pressed successfully, don't forget to check it.
