Is your wireless video surveillance equipment unstable? Just master these moments

Due to continuous development of security monitoring industry, all necessary equipment for wireless video surveillance has appeared on market at a price ranging from hundreds to thousands. Customers often say that when they used cheap equipment in past, it was unstable. You get what you pay for, wireless monitoring is not look of equipment, so how can we have a stable set of wireless monitoring equipment? In fact, if we master following points, we can effectively solve problem of equipment instability.

System Distribution

Front Surveillance Point Distribution determines how front wireless bridge is distributed. If several cameras can be concentrated, we can concentrate signals of several cameras and then transmit them. This saves power cables and its advantages and disadvantages will not be discussed here. If we cannot focus, we can use multiple transmissions and one reception to realize wireless video transmission. There is another network cable to transfer network data to NVR HDD NVR.

Transmission frequency

The frequency band uses 2.4G channel transmission, which is key to bridge signal interference. 2.4G is used for network coverage, since most wireless network cards are in this frequency band, and many external frequencies are same or similar, which will interfere with device's system. The normal signal source of normal signal causes receiving side to be unable to receive signal or receive a signal in same frequency band, making it difficult for terminal to distinguish.

For surveillance cameras, recommended bandwidth is 5.8G, and 5.8G is relatively clean. The anti-interference ability of 5.8G wireless network bridge is also higher than that of 2.4G wireless network bridge. In difficult and harsh elevator use scenarios such as strong electric and strong magnetic fields, anti-interference ability of 5.8G wireless network bridge is much stronger, and wireless 5.8G network bridge is generally not affected by external factors. At present, use of 2.4G wireless bridges is more than use of 5.8G wireless bridges, so probability of equipment duplication will be much higher, so now we generally recommend using 5.8G wireless bridges to realize surveillance video wireless transmission.

Transmission range

The transmission distance of wireless video surveillance equipment is 1km, 2km, 3km, 5km, 10km, 20km, 30km, etc., so transmission distance depends on which product you choose and cost should be different.
