In order to achieve network isolation between different offices on a local network, we can set up a layer 3 switch and then divide it into different vlans and achieve access control between different departments through ACLs.
The English code Vlan is VLAN and Chinese code is VLAN. Its main advantages: 1. Flexible construction of a virtual local area network. 2. Can enhance security of local network. network 3. It can effectively control broadcast range.
We create different vlans using commands as shown below.

Before we want to know answer, we need to know standard vlan protocol and vlan tag composition.
Standard VLAN protocol:
IEEE 802.1Q is a standard specification for implementing VLANs developed by International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
802.1Q VLAN differentiates data flows between different VLANs by marking an 802.1Q TAG in data packet.
An 802.1Q VLAN tag occupies a total of 4 bytes that are padded between source MAC address and Ethernet type. Among them, VID tag occupies 12 bits, and VLAN ID ranges from 000000000001 to 111111111111, so VLANs 1-4094 are available.
