The digital video intercom market is also relatively patchy nowadays, being flooded with semi-digital and counterfeit digital products. How to distinguish authenticity of a digital intercom system?
1. Check if standard TCP/IP protocol is accepted and if transmitted video and audio signals are encoded and compressed digital signals.
2. Check if intermediate equipment and network equipment are shared: Currently, some use dedicated switches, and some change name of converters to switches, etc. They need to be distinguished. Generally speaking, real network intermediate equipment can be purchased directly from market. If it can only be purchased from an intercom system supplier, then it is definitely not a true digital product. A true digital product is standard and universal.
3. Look at interface: when purchasing products, we must carefully examine interfaces of call station, central control station, indoor station and outdoor station, to ensure that RJ-45 interface is used, if not, standard RJ-45 interface is definitely not digital intercom device.
