Weak wires refers to signal and control wires (cables) whose operating voltage is lower than 38V. The biggest feature is low voltage resistance and poor overcurrent resistance. Such as communications, cable TV lines, etc. Durable wire refers to wire (cable) used for power supply. The biggest feature is high withstand voltage (more than 220/380V in our country) and strong overcurrent (depending on actual wire diameter). Such as wires (cables) needed for power supply, power cords for electrical appliances, etc. So what types of weak wires are commonly used? come and see.
Common wire names and usage ranges are as follows:
YJV power cable with copper core and polyethylene insulation and polyethylene sheath
When laying indoors, in tunnels and pipelines, cables do not withstand pressure and external mechanical influences
YJV22 copper core power cable with polyethylene insulation, steel tape, reinforced with polyethylene sheath
When laying indoors, in tunnels and directly in ground, cables withstand pressure and other external influences
BB32 Power cable with PVC insulation made of thin steel wire, reinforced with PVC sheath
When laying indoors and in mines, cables withstand significant stretching.
BB42 Power cable with PVC insulation made of thick steel wire, reinforced with PVC sheath
When laid indoors or in shafts, cables withstand significant axial tension.
ZR-VV Power cable with PVC insulation and flame retardant PVC sheath
When laying indoors, in tunnels and pipelines, cables do not withstand pressure and external mechanical influences.
ZR-VV22 PVC Insulated Steel Tape Power Cable Reinforced with PVC Flame Retardant Jacket
Cables laid indoors, in tunnels and directly in ground can withstand pressure and other external influences.
ZR-VV32 Fine steel wire PVC insulated power cable reinforced with flame retardant PVC sheath
When laying indoors and in mines, cables withstand significant stretching.
ZR-VV42 Thick Steel Wire PVC Insulated Power Cable Reinforced with Flame Retardant PVC Jacket
When laid indoors or in shafts, cables withstand significant axial tension.
Low current cables mainly include:
1. Telephone line, large log HYA, telephone line has 2*1/0.5, 4*1/0.5, large log HYA, there are 10 pairs, 20 pairs, 30 pairs, 50 pairs and 100 pairs... all pairs .
2. * SYV series line and SYWV series, SYV refers to * monitoring line, for example * SYV75-5 lines, SYWV is CATV line, which refers to physical foaming. There is also an elevator* of SYXV line.
3. RVV series power cord, such as RVV2x1.0, is used for weak power, and sometimes it can also be used for control.
4. RVVPRVS, RVB, RVVB series, there are ordinary, fire-retardant, fire-resistant. General RVS are usually used for consumption.
5. Network cable: UTP unshielded, FTP shielded, for example: UTPCAT.
6. The RVVP series shielded wire is similar to long power cable, except that there is an additional shielding mesh, so there is an additional P. Generally, a wire with P has a shielding mesh.
Poor wire performance
Commonly usede weak wire specifications: RVV, BLV, BVR, BVV, BLVV, BVVB, BLVVB, RVVP, YJV, etc. There are many more specifications that are very practical and widely used, which is very good.
