Main Equipment Wiring Specification
The IDC core network equipment, especially core intranet equipment, will have more optical fibers due to number of TOR interconnections. The fiber optics of core network equipment must be laid neatly and cannot be interspersed horizontally and vertically.
Optical fiber is laid vertically on left or right side of equipment, and location of its installation cannot block air inlet and outlet of network equipment. The length of optical fiber to be lowered should not be too long, and degree of bending should not be too large. Labeled optical fibers that are connected to different cores should be highlighted as much as possible with marks of different colors.
