01Screen Flatness

03White screen balance

04Screen refresh rate
If refresh rate is too low, LED display will vibrate when viewed by human eye, and scanning lines will appear when shooting through camera. High Refresh improves brightness and color accuracy of display. It can be determined with a digital camera, if it is a high refresh rate, pictures taken by camera are very clear, without snowflakes and scan lines. This indicator is especially important when renting screens and TV broadcasts.
05PCB design
The design and materials of PCB play a vital role in stability and display effect of LED display.
Material requirements: PCB thickness is generally 1.6mm; Material: FR-4 fiberglass board.
Key points in design: connectors. Currently, two types of connectors are most commonly used on market: horn and pin. The advantage of bull horn is that it can hold cable in two clamp positions, and it is not easy to cause failures caused by connector problems; Regarding choice of electrolytic capacitors and tantalum capacitors, tantalum capacitors are undoubtedly first choice for applications that require a long service life. Where low prices are required, electrolytic capacitors are first choice.
06Luminous tube angle of view
Oval light tubes or overhead light tubes are commonly used for outdoor LED advertising displays. Oval light tubes have characteristics of small angle and high brightness, and vertical viewing angle of SMD light tubes is much larger than that of elliptical tubes, but its brightness is less than elliptical tubes. Elliptical light tubes, from user's point of view, should choose light tubes with different viewing angles depending on surface of LED display audience and surrounding light environment.
