The following uses NetTV motion detection as an example: if user wants to monitor a specific area, and when an anomaly occurs in that area, an alarm will be triggered, and motion detection can be selected.

In motion detection setup interface, enable corresponding area by checking checkbox at bottom of page. After triggering a certain area, screen will display area frame and area number will be indicated. Move your mouse over area frame and you can drag frame to place it anywhere in image, or you can move mouse pointer to lower right corner area frame, drag it to resize it. After setting, click "Apply" and motion detection settings will take effect.

Method 1: (Setup via IP)

Step 1. Set up motion detection. Configuration - Advanced Configuration - Events - Motion Detection: check "Enable motion detection" to enable it, uncheck it to disable it, and click "Save" in bottom right corner;

Second step: set up PIR. Configuration - Advanced Configuration - Events - Other alarms: check "Enable PIR alarm" and check "Record communication" in "Communication mode", select "Start channel" and click "Save" in lower right corner; check status to indicate Enabled, unchecked means disabled.

Method 2: (installed via EZVIZ Studio)

First step, EZVIZ Studio - Device Management, select a device, and then click Advanced Configuration (Password: 12345) - Event - Motion Detection, check "Enable Motion Detection", and at same time in "Trigger Recording Channel", and click " Save" in bottom right corner; a checked state means it's enabled, and an unchecked state means it's disabled;

Second Step: EZVIZ Studio - Advanced Configuration - Events - Other Alarms, select "PIR Alarm" as alarm type and check in front of "Enable Alarm Binding" and then click setup button next to Binding Mode in "Check" box. "Trigger Recording Channel" and click "Save" in lower right corner; a checked state means it's on, and an unchecked state means it's off.
