Motion detection, which means "motion detection technology" in English, is also called motion detection in general, and is often used in automatic video surveillance and automatic alarm. The images collected by camera according to different frame rates will be calculated and compared by processor according to a certain algorithm. When changing image, if someone passes by and lens moves, number resulting from calculation and comparison will exceed threshold and indicate system performance Automatically perform appropriate processing.
What does it mean when a motion detection message appears on monitor?
Home: Hikvision, Wuyou, Dahua, Tiandi Weiye and other brands of network cameras have motion detection function.
The following uses NetTV motion detection as an example: if user wants to monitor a specific area, and when an anomaly occurs in that area, an alarm will be triggered, and motion detection can be selected.
In motion detection setup interface, enable corresponding area by checking checkbox at bottom of page. After triggering a certain area, screen will display area frame and area number will be indicated. Move your mouse over area frame and you can drag frame to place it anywhere in image, or you can move mouse pointer to lower right corner area frame, drag it to resize it. After setting, click "Apply" and motion detection settings will take effect.
If you are not using it, you can also disable motion detection
