5. Lighting Requirements
When using security cameras at night, lighting equipment is usually required to avoid reflections and shadows, and infrared lighting can be used instead of conventional bulbs. However, users should use black and white surveillance cameras and network surveillance cameras with infrared lighting equipment, because black and white surveillance cameras are more sensitive to infrared light, and color surveillance cameras cannot perform infrared functions.
At present, many cameras have started using wide dynamic shooting function to improve image quality in backlit conditions, but this does not mean that camera can continue to work in strong lighting conditions.
